About this tour
We take you bottom fishing for grouper, snapper, parrotfish and larger predators at 50 to 150 metres and, on the full day, trolling offshore for mahi-mahi, tuna and wahoo. Your native Tahitian guide shares the traditional knowledge of what to keep and how to prepare it, and names every fish in Tahitian, French and English.

Meet your guide at your meeting point. Equipment check and brief on target species and method for the day.

Depart into the lagoon. First lines in the water.
07:30–09:30
Lagoon and pass fishing. Your guide handles tackle, technique and positioning throughout. Spots change based on activity.
09:30
Final stretch on the returning tide.
10:30
Return to your meeting point.
11:00
Arrive back. Fish can be kept or released. Your guide can advise on local preparation if you plan to cook your catch.
