Terms of Service
Last reviewed: 2026-09-17.
These terms cover booking, payment, cancellation and the liability waiver for tours booked with Tahiti Dream Excursion.
Booking and payment
When you book a tour, we hold the date for you and send you a payment link. Card details are typed directly on PayZen/OSB’s own secure payment page and never pass through our servers or our database. Once your payment is confirmed, Captain Keanu sends you a confirmation email with your booking reference, tour date and time, and the meeting point — that email is your proof of booking; confirmation is a manual step he takes, not an automatic one. All prices are shown and charged in XPF (French Pacific francs).
Cancellation and refunds
If you cancel a tour yourself, the refund you receive depends on how far in advance you cancel, measured against the scheduled tour date, not the date you booked:
- 100% refund if you cancel 7 or more days before the tour.
- 50% refund if you cancel between 48 hours and 7 days before the tour.
- 0% refund if you cancel less than 48 hours before the tour.
Cancellations we make
If we cancel your tour — for weather, an operational reason, or force majeure — you receive a 100% refund regardless of how close to the tour date the cancellation happens.
Approved refunds are processed by Captain Keanu directly through PayZen’s payment-link system rather than an automatic reversal, so please allow a short processing window for the refund to reach your card after it is approved — it does not appear instantly.
Liability waiver
Every guest must accept the liability waiver below before a booking is confirmed. This is the same text shown and accepted during the booking flow, version 1.0:
LIABILITY WAIVER AND RELEASE AGREEMENT Tahiti Dream Excursion — Ocean Tour Waiver (Version 1.0) PLEASE READ THIS DOCUMENT CAREFULLY BEFORE PARTICIPATING IN ANY TOUR. 1. ASSUMPTION OF RISK I understand and acknowledge that participating in ocean-based activities, including but not limited to whale watching, snorkeling, and fishing excursions, involves inherent risks. These risks include, but are not limited to: drowning, physical injury from contact with marine life, vessel motion sickness, exposure to sun and elements, strong currents, unpredictable ocean conditions, equipment malfunction, and other hazards. 2. RELEASE OF LIABILITY In consideration of being permitted to participate in any tour operated by Tahiti Dream Excursion ("the Company"), I, on behalf of myself, my heirs, personal representatives, and assigns, hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue the Company, its owners, officers, employees, guides, and agents (collectively "Released Parties") from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, and causes of action whatsoever arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained by me while participating in any activity associated with the tour. 3. HEALTH AND FITNESS I confirm that I am in adequate physical condition to participate in the selected tour. I understand that it is my responsibility to disclose any medical conditions that may affect my ability to participate safely. I agree to follow all safety instructions provided by the Captain and crew at all times. 4. INDEMNIFICATION I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from any loss, liability, damage, or cost they may incur due to my participation in the tour, whether caused by the negligence of the Released Parties or otherwise. 5. PHOTOGRAPHY AND MEDIA I grant permission to Tahiti Dream Excursion to photograph or film me during the tour and to use such images or footage for promotional purposes, unless I explicitly request otherwise in writing prior to the tour. 6. WEATHER AND CANCELLATIONS I understand that ocean tours are subject to weather and sea conditions. The Company reserves the right to cancel or modify any tour for safety reasons. In the event of a Company-initiated cancellation, I will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule. 7. GOVERNING LAW This agreement is governed by the laws of French Polynesia. Any dispute arising from this agreement or my participation in a tour shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Papeete, French Polynesia. 8. ACKNOWLEDGEMENT By accepting this waiver, I acknowledge that I have read and fully understand this document, that I am signing this agreement voluntarily without inducement, and that I intend my signature to be a complete and unconditional release of all liability to the greatest extent allowed by law. I am 18 years of age or older, or I have the consent of my parent or guardian.
